A leading global UK Bank, intended to exit from one of its businesses in India and needed on the ground Sell side support for an M&A transaction to work with the business and the investment bank. Our consultant services involved in preparation of the Information Memorandum, due diligence and analysis of the Asset portfolio of USD 800M ++, managing the Virtual Data Room (VDR), the Q&A sessions for the suitable buyers and support activities for the deal finalization.

The scope extended to working with the various support teams like HR, Legal, Finance and Risk to qualify the portfolio and prepare the information for the VDR.

Outcome: The deal was successfully concluded exceeding the expectations of the Management Board


Consulting #2

A leading global UK Bank, needed support for the migration and legal separation of their business unit as a result of the sale of their business unit in India. Our consultant managed the Transformation Program of an Asset portfolio of USD 800M ++ that involved transfer of Clients, Staff, Contract Documents and Technology system migration.

Activities also involved obtaining client & Regulatory consents / approvals to transfer the portfolio to the new buyer, organize workshops with Technology teams to conduct System migration Dress Rehearsals, finalize the Run Book and transfer of documents from the Bank Safe Vault on the Day of Transfer of Ownership.

Outcome: Successful transfer of the entire business portfolio within 10 weeks from the Sale Date with no client impact on post migration Operational Day 1

Our consultants conducted a benchmarking study across key players in the Indian Life & general Insurance market to benchmark & assess areas of opportunity.

Technology Services #4

A leading US based Multinational Technology company needed high end specialized services in Project management and commissioning of their WiFi network and the Audio Visual equipment for the launch of their largest stores in Asia at Macau. The project involved multiple vendor co-ordination under strict project timelines.

AGL’s Infrastructure team, along with the partners, Project Managed the delivery that involved installation and testing of the Wi-Fi Access points and racking & stacking of the equipment at the data center.

Outcome: Project completed within the estimated time and budget.


Technology Services #5

A premier UK based Insurance provider with a large presence in Asia, required refresh of their network infrastructure across 3 of their major locations in Asia at Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. The project involved coordinating with supply chain vendor and the client teams in these locations.

AGL’s Project managers along with Infrastructure team completed the installation at the Data Center which involved Day 0 and 1 post installation on-site support.

Outcome: Smooth cutover to the new infrastructure without any impact to the clients and business as usual

One of the Mid-Size distributor of electronic gadgets in India needed to establish its own brand of 7” tablets to cater to the growing requirement in the Tier 2, 3 cities. AGL provided specialized service that involved identifying the electronics manufacturing unit in China, designing the prototype, testing, obtaining the Indian Regulatory certification (ISI - seal of approval), marketing, packaging, customization of the end product and logistics.

Outcome: The product has been available in the local market with an established sales supply chain
